Life is 10% what happens and 90% how we choose to respond!

The power of that choice is what inspires me to support clients in creating behavioral and mindset changes to live with improved well-being! While I enjoy coaching a variety of clients, I have an affinity for working with endurance athletes, including triathletes, runners, and cyclists.

Since I was in high school, I’ve had a natural enthusiasm for motivating people and teams while overcoming their challenges, pursuing their goals, and reaching for their potential. This enthusiasm has resulted in me acquiring a strong background in helping individuals and teams navigate life changing and developmental experiences, and is responsible for my own ventures as an endurance athlete. I now love using the knowledge I have gained to empower clients in creating behaviors and mindsets to improve their overall well-being, training journey, and performance outcomes.

I received my B.A. in Communication Studies from Gustavus Adolphus College, M.S. in Counseling and Student Personnel from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and am a Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) through the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching. As an athlete, I ran distance track and cross country growing up, and have been training for and completing endurance events since 2012, from 5k to marathon distance, and sprint triathlon to 70.3, often winning or placing top 3 in my age group. I’ve loved representing Team Zoot since 2020. Read more about my triathlon story here.

In addition to Positive Potential, I work as a Health Coach for Personify Health (formerly Virgin Pulse) and my passions include pursuing my potential in triathlon, running with my dog, Charli, making and eating baked goods, traveling to natural wonders across the country with my husband, Ryan, and watching Friends while snuggled with my cat, Lola.
